It was a starry night
when I chose your eyes
from all fixed stars to be the ones
to illuminate my night skies
It was a starry night, we
sat on the rooftop and I
didn´t want to touch you because then
I wouldn´t be able to let you go anymore
It was a starry night, the stars
were dancing through the galaxies and
wrote our names on the ink-black sky
It was a starry night when you could
hear the voice of the universe
and we recognized our own insignificance-
when we sat there in infinite power,
risen above the city lights
It was a starry night when I was afraid
that the next moment anyone would
make the march of time continue
paint the sky in another colour
break the silence and
catch the shooting stars
cause if something´s perfect, it will never last
It was a starry night, we watched the falling stars,
you were smiling when you forgot to think of a wish,
no problem, fate, right next to me is everything I would ever wish for
It was a starry night, and if you were completely silent,
you could hear the world´s breath
from far below.

Literature
A night without stars is just a blackhole
The simmering cavern of her sewn up sinews
Give way to her uncharted lungs
Filled with baby’s breath and snow angels she used to make
When she was young and would run between
The coiled lifelines of forests
Weaving between the wolves and decaying stories
Of ancient trees and shaking wrists
Inked in blue biro tattoos and lovers trysts
Night owl manifestations echoing in the juncture of her jaw
Rain splattered across the slope of her shoulders
Limbs contorted in an attempt to lift of the earth
Because falling for the boy with the crescent moon half smile
Was far more exciting than taking a nose dive into winters
Frosty grave where star

Melancholia
Soothe and subdue me,
overthrow the ferocity
that harrows me nightly,
and all through the day,
when I should be
happy with you.
Say you will slay
all of my fears
and the forces that drive me
always to tears,
or this intensity
will surely devour me.
You won't escape its teeth, dear,
because you love me so.
You stand by your woman,
even when the wind is blowin',
threatening to tear our house down.
And the colder the winter,
you just hold me tighter,
vowing nothing
will tear us asunder.
Golden-hearted you,
bravest of lovers,
have withstood all the tempests I bring,
but together we will drown,

And I will Always be the Moon
We have gotten so attached to these days and these months,
but a deer doesn't know a Tuesday from a Thursday
and a caribou can't comprehend that it was born on a September afternoon,
but they can understand this instant, this moment, this breath,
only now, no longer the past, and only the future when they get there,
there's a healthy lack of awareness in that,
escaping the fear of death but thriving off the instinct to live,
everything so primal and based off gut reactions,
I guess you could say ignorance is bliss,
but ignorance only actually applies when it comes to humanity,
oh I would like a life like that,
